Longnose Hawkfish, hem yatay hem de dikey olarak çalışan kırmızı çizgili beyaz bir gövdeye sahiptir. Onlar büyük kişilikleri var ve izlemek çok ilginç. Ayrıca esaret altında ortaya çıktığı bildirilen tek Hawkfish’tir. 30 galon veya daha büyük bir akvaryum kabul edilebilir ve kaçmayı önlemek için sıkı bir kapağa sahip olmalıdır. Longnose Hawkfish, dayanıklı, yarı agresif bir balıktır, ancak diğer büyük hawkfishler onu yener. Küçük balık ve karides yiyor olsa da, uygun koşullar altında mükemmel bir resif sakinleri yapar.
