Midas Blenny, resif tankı için mükemmel bir adaydır. Çenenin altında mavi gölgesi ve parlak, mavi çerçeveli gözleri olan güzel, derin bir altın sarısıdır. Yüzerken, kullandıkları hareket çok yılanbalığı gibidir.Bu blenny, 30 galon veya daha büyük minimum bir tankı takdir edecek ve üzerinde levrek olacak çok sayıda kaya olacaktır. Bazen, Midas Blenny küçük planktivorları rahatsız edecek ve ateş balığı ve gobileri kıstırdığı bilinmektedir. Daha büyük tanklar, Midas Blenny’nin saldırgan davranış özelliklerinin birçoğunun sınırlı bir tank durumu ile ilgili göründüğü için avantajlıdır.
Çoğu blenniden farklı olarak, Midas Blenny, ince kıyılmış kabuklu eti, mizi ve vitamin açısından zengin tuzlu su karidesinin yanı sıra dondurulmuş otçul preparatlar, mikro ve mavi-yeşil algler içeren etli bir diyet gerektirir.
